Saint

Saint is a singer-songwriter from Brantford, Ontario, whose work centers on intimate, guitar-driven jazz influenced-pop. Her music is grounded in simplicity, with a focus on voice and minimal instrumentation to create a direct and personal listening experience. Influenced by artists such as Billie Eilish, Laufey, and The Beatles, Saint’s sound blends elements of indie and pop while maintaining a stripped-back, understated quality that emphasizes clarity and control in both performance and songwriting. Her creative process begins with guitar, building a musical foundation before layering in freeform lyrics that are later shaped into structured verses, choruses, and bridges. While currently developing her artistic voice, Saint has gained performance experience through cover bands, chamber ensemble work with Aurora, her participation in the Guelph Symphonic Choir, the Assumption College School's concert band playing the timpani, as well as their jazz ensemble as a vocalist, and choir. She has also explored original songwriting across styles, including a demo of a jazz-influenced piece titled “Bluebird” and previously contributed to the released track “No Matter What.” with her high school band, August. Her work reflects an ongoing process of experimentation and refinement as she continues to grow as an artist.
